Refund policy

At LACASTO, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact our support team so that we can assist you.

1. Damaged Products

Cast-iron cookware is heavy and may occasionally be damaged during transportation.

If your package or product arrives damaged:

Take clear photographs of the outer packaging.
Take clear photographs of the damaged product.
Contact our customer support team within 48 hours of delivery.
Provide your order number and the required photographs/videos.

After reviewing the information, we may offer a replacement or another appropriate resolution.

2. Wrong Product Received

If you receive a product different from the product ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We may request photographs of:

The product received
The packaging
The shipping label
The order details

If the mistake is confirmed, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or resolution.

3. Manufacturing Defects

If you believe that your product has a genuine manufacturing defect, contact our support team with photographs/videos and your order details.

Our team will review the issue and determine whether the product qualifies for replacement or another applicable resolution.

4. Change of Mind / Unwanted Product

Because cookware is a product intended for food preparation and hygiene considerations, returns due to change of mind, personal preference or incorrect selection may not be accepted.

If you have any concern regarding your order, please contact us before using the product.

5. Product Condition for Approved Returns

Where a return is approved, the product should generally be:

Unused
Clean
Free from food residue
In its original packaging where reasonably possible
Accompanied by the order details

Products that have been used, damaged through misuse or altered by the customer may not qualify for return or replacement.

6. Cast-Iron Surface Variations

Cast iron is a naturally produced material.

Minor variations such as:

Surface texture
Seasoning marks
Small color variations
Minor cosmetic imperfections

may occur and are not automatically considered defects.

Cast iron can also develop seasoning and surface changes through normal use and maintenance.

7. Refunds

If a refund is approved, the refund will generally be processed after the return or issue has been reviewed and approved.

The refund will normally be issued through the original payment method or another appropriate method.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment service provider.

8. Replacement

Where a replacement is approved, LACASTO may arrange a replacement product subject to product availability.

If the same product is unavailable, we may provide an alternative resolution after discussing it with the customer.

9. Non-Returnable Situations

A return or replacement may not be accepted where:

The product has been damaged due to misuse.
The product has been modified or altered.
The product has been damaged due to improper care.
The product has been used contrary to the provided instructions.
The issue is a normal characteristic of cast iron.
The return request is made outside the applicable reporting period.
The product is returned without prior approval.

10. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact our support team as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests cannot always be accepted once an order has been processed, packed or shipped.

If the order has already been shipped, the customer may need to follow the applicable return process.
